“I have been selling luxury real estate for 17 years. There has been much hoopla over the wealthy being affected by the market. On the news this week, a Chicago home priced in the $10 plus million mark was singled out. I know the history of this home. My childhood friends grew up in it…”

I conducted a little experiment in modern marketing yesterday. I flipped on the TV and waited to see how many commercials I would have to watch before finding one that didn’t advertise a website address. It took over an hour.

A robust website is the minimum for a successful business and brand these days. And Rubloff should know. We’ve been the industry leader in web presence since we launched the first Chicago-based real estate website way back in the early days of 1996. But we’ve never been one to rest on our laurels. Every step of the way, Rubloff has advanced its technology and marketing focus to stay ahead of the curve and better service our clients. Today is no exception.

Rubloff is now an active participant on many of the online social networking sites that you’ve come to know and love, or at the very least, hear about on the news. We don’t do this just to rub elbows with the cool guys like Ashton Kutcher and Al Gore, but because we recognize sites like Twitter are just another way we can connect with the core of what we do best: communicate with and counsel our clients on what’s new, available and happening in Chicago real estate today.

Whether it’s by perusing some of our Elite properties on Flickr.com, or learning about our team of experienced agents on LinkedIn, or even checking out video resources for agents on YouTube, there’s a lot to see and experience even beyond the bounds of Rubloff.com. As our Facebook community expands and our followers on Twitter grow, we want to use every opportunity to connect with buyers and sellers — to help them realize their real estate dreams, whatever they may be.

Make the jump with us today by following us on Twitter and clicking the link below. Say hello, ask a question, or just sit back and read updates to that popular question — What are you doing? But don’t be surprised if our tweets sound more like the answer to “What are we doing NEXT?”

The Brad Lippitz Group, one of Chicago’s top performing real estate agent teams, will be joining Rubloff Residential Properties on May 1, 2009. Founded by Brad Lippitz in 1994, The Brad Lippitz Group includes of 6 sales associates who will continue to serve their clients out of the office on North Broadway as members of Rubloff’s Lincoln Park office. “We are thrilled to have Brad and his agents here at Rubloff”, states Darlene Little, Senior Vice President and Managing Broker at Rubloff’s Lincoln Park office. “Brad Lippitz is one of Chicago’s most respected and high producing agents.”

Howard Weinstein, Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Rubloff states, “Brad and his team will make a fine addition to Rubloff. They have that unique combination of experience and talents Rubloff is always looking for in new associates. The Brad Lippitz Group has many years of successful experience, a strong commitment to professional ethics and a record of providing a high level of customer service to their clients.”

“I decided to join Rubloff,” Lippitz asserts, “because I believe my clients will be best served by the combination of my focus on distinctive boutique properties and Rubloff’s solid reputation and its vast marketing network.” Lippitz also hopes that the association will help him expand his market share.

“Aside from their sterling reputation, Rubloff’s marketing and IT support are simply outstanding,” Lippitz states, “and their focus on Internet marketing, blogging and social networking really puts them ahead of the competition.”

Lippitz concentrates on selective properties throughout the city from high end coops in the Gold Coast, significant Lincoln Park single family homes, one-of-a-kind lots in Wicker Park and River West, and vintage homes and new construction in Lakeview and Andersonville. “The common threads in all of the properties I represent,” Lippitz contends, “are quality, uniqueness and superb aesthetics.”

Lippitz “Loves Chicago” and is a Chicago native. He and his associates will continue to work out of their office at 3323 N. Broadway, a neighborhood he has worked in for 7 years. The other members of the Lippitz Group are Gary Zickel, Jeremy Dubin, Mary Beth Sova, Michael Fezco, and Bleusette Randall.

Lippitz has a depth of experience few real estate agents can match. He graduated from University of Illinois with a BS in Marketing and the University of Chicago Law School. Lippitz practiced real estate and corporate law for many years before opening his own art studio in the Fulton Market area. He is an artist in his own right and designed his own home, which was later published. His experiences therefore have given him a strong appreciation for both the business and legal side of real estate as well as an uncanny sense for good design and architecture.

Rubloff has been a household name in Chicago real estate since 1930 when it was founded by Arthur Rubloff. Now owned by Howard Weinstein and Tom Horwich, Rubloff Residential Properties is one of Chicago’s most respected real estate firms. Rubloff provides real estate services to a diverse set of communities including the North Shore, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, South Loop and Michigan’s Harbor Country.
